Not only is Miss Phoebe the first woman to voice a major Star Wars droid character; not only does she produce and write the amazing Killing Eve, but she also wrote, produced and starred in the HIGHLY T Lo-recommended Fleabag, which can be found streaming on Amazon. If you love hilarious heartbreakers about complicated, funny, maddening and deeply flawed women, you will adore Fleabag.
Okay, enough gushing. Onward! To judgment!

There are so many reasons for us not to like this; the heavy textile, the overdone sleeves, the too on-point sandals. But the fussiness and exuberance don’t overwhelm her because she’s got such a soignee sort of vibe to her; helped along by the near total lack of jewelry or notable makeup. She’s clean-faced and stripped bare, which is letting all the attention-seeking elements of her outfit have enough room to breathe.
It just suits her.

Her footwear seems to have changed at some point post-Stormtrooper, for which we are grateful, because those bobos did not look fabulous.
It’s hard not to see this as just a little bit bridal. The one thing it’s got going for it is that it would make for a fairly unconventional bridal design. She can pull this off and make it look distinct, but it wouldn’t have been our first choice for her. She does so much better in lean, soignee styles.
