We agree, Riverdale star Madelaine Petsch! Empathy DOES rock! Unfortunately, we’re not here to talk about the benefits of caring about other people. Rather, it’s your dress that has us all gathered here today. It’s … something alright.
Believe it or not, we don’t even care to get into how ridiculously overdesigned this frock is. It’s a silly design and not even she can make it work. We’re more struck by the print, which made the rounds earlier this week on Carey Mulligan. Is it us, or has this season been an unusually bad one for florals? It seems like everyone’s sporting some small-scale, bedsheet-y floral in kind of ugly color combinations. This is one trend we hope gets played out quickly, but we suspect it’ll stick around through the end of the year, just to piss us off.
We’re also struck by how different this dress is from Carey’s and how neither design could make this print look pretty.
