It’s been a while since a dress got us to literally blurt out what would be our catchphrase if we were the annoying gay neighbors in a sitcom, but this truly is the strongest example of GTNYD we’ve seen in ages.
Oh honey, no. We can absolutely understand if a woman wants to drop the super-fierce Cookie Lyon drag and get a little Keira Knightley action on for once. We absolutely think some sort of super-frilly, uber-romantic style could look pretty amazing on her. But this is simply wrong for her. The ruffly skirt , high neckline and high waist give it a vaguely juvenile tone that simply doesn’t look right on her. If this textile had been rendered in a full gown with a less restrictive neckline we think she could look amazing in it, but this shape and style needs to be boxed up and sent off to a Fanning sister. It’s just not your dress, lady.
