Rooney Mara attends the premiere of “Pan” at Ziegfeld Theater in New York City.
Okay, we’re just going to say it. She looks like a girl who just had an unexpected red-letter-day when she thought she was going to have a white-dress day and grabbed the nearest thing she could find to tie around her waist.
Are we being vulgar? Because believe us, we’d have rather not gone there, but it’s kind of impossible not to see it. In fact, we’re finding it a little hard to believe that she didn’t immediately see it and picked the dress just because it’s weird and had the potential to make people uncomfortable (which is kind of her thing). Why else would she keep framing the … effect with her hands?
But we’re asking the wrong question here. Why did a designer make a white lace dress with red flowers all over the crotch? WHY DOES THIS DRESS EXIST?
